Hello all. I don't think I will be posting to this blog any more, or at least for a long while. My summer in the Czech is over. I've had all of the experiences, and my next step is process them and practice them. With a full course load in my second year in seminary and my first real job staring me in the face, I'll have a lot more thinking and wondering over the next year. - I'm a 23 year old female about to start my second year in seminary. I am a moderate Baptist (and you thought that was an oxymoron! http://www.thefellowship.info/About-Us/FAQ) who is passionate about making people feel welcome in the Church. Since Jesus went out of his way to eat with prostitutes and tax collectors (teen moms and Bernie Madoffs, to update the terms), the global church needs to take a hard look at itself and its ideas about who 'belongs'. Either we all do or no one does. Other than Jesus, who is way more radical than any of us have ben led to believe, I like books, staying inside with them during bad weather, and meeting new people, one at a time.
